Our favourite superhero is back in the news! Hrithik Roshan in and as Krrish is getting ready to blow us away again with the 4th part of the movie series.
The film’s work was put on hold when director Rakesh Roshan, who is also Hrithik’s father, was diagnosed with throat cancer in 2019. The director spent his lockdown hours developing a script for the movie.
Referring to a report by Mid-Day, apparently, Krrish 4 brings out an old friend who all us 90s and 00s kids have been missing… Jadoo! Krrish is all set to time travel to bring back his scientist father, Rohit Mehra, from the dead along with his father’s then best friend, the friendly alien Jadoo.
A close source of the Roshans reveals that the idea of intergalactic travel was introduced by Hrithik. The source says, “As soon as they finalised the idea, Rakeshji began the pre-production work with Rajesh Roshan taking over the music department.”
“Given the movie’s ambitious theme, the director has entrusted Shah Rukh Khan’s Red Chillies with the visual effects. He intends to introduce an army of super-villains who will battle the hero and has hired a Hollywood designer to give a distinct look to each baddie,” the source continues.
While we are all bound to get excited with the return of Jadoo, reportedly Priyanka Chopra, who has been the leading lady beside Krrish for the prequels, won’t be sharing the screen with Hrithik this time.
“Rohit is integral to the story as he is the only person who can contact Jadoo. Rakeshji has designed the script cleverly to incorporate the much loved alien from Koi Mil Gaya [2003]. While the cast is yet to be determined, Priyanka Chopra is not expected to reprise her role.”
The movie is said to make a grand release in the month of January, 2021.
