Another update in Sushant Singh Rajput’s case is that contrary to Kangana Ranaut’s statements, the late actor was very much supported by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Ekta Kapoor and Aditya Chopra.
Ankita Lokhande is Sushant’s ex-girlfriend of six years and has recently opened up about Sushant, giving many twists to the already on-going case.
Talking to Times Now, Ankita said, “Adi sir really supported him. Whenever he used to have a problem and he called Adi sir, he used to immediately call him back and ask him to meet him. Then Sushant used to go and meet him directly. If Sushant called him, he would immediately talk to him.”
Lokhande also mentioned that she along with Sushant were both offered films by director Sanjay Leela Bhansali but neither of them took up the opportunities.
She went on to mention the fact that she had no idea of what Sushant’s relationship with Karan Johar was, however, the previously mentioned directors were nothing but supportive. “Mujhe pata hi nahi hai Karan Johar ke saath kya deal hui (I don’t know about the deal with Karan Johar), I have no idea about it but yes Aditya Chopra, Ekta Kapoor and Sanjay Leela Bhansali… I have seen that. They were all very supportive,” says Ankita.
