Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan has been making headlines for quite a sometime now.
Saif’s latest web-series ‘Tandav’ released on Friday on Amazon Prime Video.
Seems like Ali Abbas Zafar’s political drama has landed into controversy for allegedly hurting Hindu sentiments.
While the Amazon original series has received quite some positive reviews, a certain section of the society accused the makers of attempting to “mock” and “target” the Hindu deity.
This whole controversy apparently led Saif to take help from Bandra Police. There is heavy police protection outside Saif Ali Khan-Kareena Kapoor Khan’s house in Bandra.
Just a day after the premiere of ‘Tandav’, netizens even trended #BoycottTandav on Twitter.
One user tweeted, “How can they abuse our god..?? #BoycottTandav.”
“When will you realize that it’s all about How to hurt Hindu sentiments using their gods and dharma and not about Entertainment at all. I want every Hindu to speak up on these issues… #BoycottTandav,” tweeted another.
