Kartik Aryan will next be seen in a serious avatar in Ram Madhvani’s ‘Dhamaka’, which is a remake of the Korean thriller ‘The Terror Live’.
Kartik will be essaying the role of journalist ‘Arjun Pathak’ who’s headlining a television channel’s live coverage of a terrorist attack.
Interestingly enough, the Pyaar ka Punchnama actor managed to wind up shooting the movie in the record time of mere TEN DAYS, in spite of having allocated 14 days for the schedule.
Peeping Moon had also reported that Kartik had taken home a whopping fee of 20 crores for just 10 days of work. As per the latest update by Pinkvilla, Dhamaka is currently in post-production stage and has reportedly opted for an OTT release on NETFLIX!
A source told the portal that Dhamaka has been sold to Netflix for 85 crores. The source further added that June 2021 was the tentative release window for the project.
Dhamaka will also feature Mrunal Thakur as the female lead. She reportedly replaced Yami Gautam.
Apart from Dhamaka, Kartik has Dostana 2 with Janhvi Kapoor and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 with Kiara Advani.
