Oh no! Seems like Sunny Leone has landed herself into some legal trouble.
The actress is currently in Kerala, hosting a TV show.
According to News18, R.Shiyas, an event manager from Kochi, has registered a complaint with the Kerala DGP against Sunny Leone.
Shiyas alleged that Sunny has taken Rs 29 Lakhs promising him to attend different functions. But the actress has apparently failed to turn up.
The complaint stated that Sunny’s manager supposedly took money in several installments from 2016 onwards, promising to attend five functions, but it didn’t happen.
According to reports, on Friday, Kochi Crime Branch (CB) recorded Sunny Leone’s statements at a private resort in Thiruvananthapuram.
While talking to IANS, a police officer said that Sunny confessed to taking that money, but she didn’t intend to cheat Shiyas.
“She had deposed before the Crime Branch that her manager had indeed taken the money and she had given dates several times but the event manager could not comply with her dates and hence the issue arose,” the officer said.
Meanwhile, based on Sunny’s statement, the police will collect more information from the complainant and then take further action.
