Vicky Kaushal’s The Immortal Ashwatthama may be on the backburner for now, but he has other interesting projects to look at.
He’s headlining the biopic of the first Field Marshal of India – Sam Manekshaw. The celebrated general led the Indian Army to victory in the 1971 Indo-Pak war.
As per previous reports, Ludo actress Fatima Sana Shaikh was approached for a prominent role in this biopic which has been titled ‘Sam Bahadur‘.
There’s another interesting addition to the cast allegedly. Pagglait actress Sanya Malhotra too is in talks with the makers for a part, if this Pinkvilla report is to be believed.
Sanya and Fatima have both previously starred in movies like Dangal and Ludo. If Sanya gets locked in – this will be their 3rd collaboration. Sam Bahadur is being helmed by Meghna Gulzar and will commence shooting next year reportedly.
Meanwhile, Vicky Kaushal will also be seen in Mr Lele with Kiara Advani and Bhumi Pednekar.
