Sony Pictures Films India To Release 17 FILMS In The Next 12 MONTHS; See LIST HERE!

Sony Pictures Films India (SPFI) has made an official announcement that’s going to get all you movie enthusiasts longing for more.

The association has taken to their social media handles to let us know that they’re going to release 17 films over the next 12 months in India!

The spectacular list of 17 includes Hollywood and Bollywood movies. While the Hollywood movies are Venom: Let There Be Carnage, Escape Room: Tournament of Champions, Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City, Ghostbusters: Afterlife, Man From Toronto, Morbius and Uncharted, let’s take a look at the Bollywood details.

1. Looop Lapeta

Directed by Aakash Bhatia, Looop Lapeta is an upcoming film that stars features Taapsee Pannu and Tahir Raj Bhasin in the lead roles. The movie is also the remake of the renowned German film titled ‘Run Lola Run’. Looop Lapeta is to be released in theatres this October 22, 2021.

2. Tera Kya Hoga Lovely

This film will introduce us to Balwinder Singh Janjua, who makes his directorial debut with the project. Randeep Hooda and Ileana D’Cruz lead ‘Tera Kya Hoga Lovely’ which was earlier titled ‘Unfair & Lovely’. As suggested by the name, the movie is a play on society’s preference for light skin tones.

3. Major

Major is an upcoming biography that is directed by Sashi Kiran Tikka. It stars South Indian heartthrob Adivi Sesh in the lead role. Apparently, the film is shot simultaneously in the languages – Telugu and Hindi. The same will be later dubbed into Malayalam. As for the details of the film, it is based on real-life Hero, Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan, who was a part of the 2008 Mumbai attacks.
