Shanaya Kapoor has been a diva on Instagram and already has a fanbase that is awaiting her Bollywood debut.
Now, as per reports, Shanaya Kapoor is all set to do her first Bollywood film with the ace filmmaker Shashank Khaitan.
Karan Johar had announced the launch for Sanjay Kapoor’s daughter Shanaya earlier this year and planned to take it on floors in July. However, things got delayed due to the second wave of Covid.
But, Dharma production looks all set to take the project ahead now with Shashank helming the movie and Shanaya, Gurfateh, and Lakshya playing the leads.
This new film is a light-hearted, triangle love story and will see Shanaya pairing up with Guilty actor Gurfateh Pirzada and newcomer Lakshya Lalwani who was earlier supposed to make his debut with Karan’s Dostana 2 co-starring Janhvi Kapoor.
All the three leads have attended several workshops in the last few months and are all set to take the movie on the floor in December.
Earlier, this rom-com was to be directed by Paras Chakravarti and Shashank was just the producer.
Even Shanaya’s cousin, Janhvi Kapoor made her Bollywood debut with Shashank Khaitan.
