Fans are eagerly awaiting updates on Jee Le Zaraa starring Alia Bhatt, Priyanka Chopra and Katrina Kaif as the main ensemble cast.
Farhan Akhtar will be directing this all-girls road trip/friendship movie. However, it looks like he’s stepping in to act in the project as well.
As per recent Bollywood Hungama report, it appears that popular male actors are not willing to play second fiddle in this female-oriented movie!
A source said – “It is tough casting the male leads when the female leads are already in place. All the top actors assume the women have meaty roles while the men are mere shadows. But it’s not like that. The men in Jee Le Zaraa have very important roles to play. But who is going to explain to them?”
Farhan has allegedly decided to play one of the male characters in Jee Le Zaraa, in hopes that 2 more superstars will follow suit to complete the pairing with the ladies.
Let’s wait and see who else is cast opposite the female leads. Produced by Excel Entertainment and Tiger Baby, Jee Le Zaraa will go on floors in 2022 and be released in 2023.
