Ever since the announcement, Salman Khan-starrer Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali has been creating a lot of buzz.
Directed by Farhad Samji (Houefull 4, Bachchhan Paandey fame), the movie is expected to go on floors soon.
Starring Pooja Hegde as the female lead, the family entertainer also features Aayush Sharma and Zaheer Iqbal in pivotal roles.
Recently, rumours went rife that Salman had allegedly replaced existing actors, Arshad Warsi and Shreyas Talpade, with his brother-in-law-actor Aayush and Zaheer in Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali. However, according to the latest News18 report, the reports are FALSE!
As per the report, Arshad and Shreyas were not even approached for the film.
“Aayush and Zaheer have always been a part of the film and have not replaced anyone. The superstar who launched Zaheer with Notebook (2019) and brother-in-law Aayush with Loveratri (2018) had recommended their name when the film was announced and the production house had agreed to it.”
– a source revealed to the portal.
“In fact, Sooraj Pancholi who was also launched by Salman with Hero (2015) is also being considered for a role in the film. The trio who have small but crucial roles will be seen as three friends who cross paths with Salman’s character and end up helping him,” the source added.
When Arshad was asked about the ongoing reports, he told Bollywood Life –
“Your information is wrong, I was never asked to do Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali in the first place.”
