Brahmastra Part One Shiva is receiving much love from the fans (although there’s a lot of trolling going on against the ‘cringy’ dialogues too).
Nevertheless, the great VFX has indeed made for a memorable theatre experience and the stupendous box office collection is totally reflecting that.
One of the main hype moments in the film is Shah Rukh Khan’s cameo as scientist Mohan Bhargav (hey, he played a scientist named Mohan Bhargav in Swades too)! Fans even started a petition for a Brahmastra Spin-off on SRK’s character.
And looks like director Ayan Mukerji might just heed the fans’ demands. In conversation with Indian Express, Ayan revealed –
“Before the fans were saying it, we were also saying that ourselves. When we were shooting the sequence in 2019 and we discovered the personality of the scientist, we said, ‘Yaar, we have to do stuff. We have to do the origins story of the scientist!
We were also vibing on that frequency, my assistants and I. So, I guess my response to the spin-off demand is that: We are already thinking about it. We are hearing everything and are planning our next moves.”
