Nawazuddin Siddiqui and his ex-wife Aaliya have often been in the headlines for their troubled marriage.
As per reports , the star has now filed a defamation suit against brother Shamas Nawab Siddiqui and ex-wife Aaliya Siddiqui, seeking damages of Rs. 100 crores!

Nawazuddin has also accused Shamas and Aaliya of working together to misappropriate his funds! Back in 2008, Nawaz had entrusted Shamas with his finances and made him his manager. Shamas had bought multiple properties with the money instead, without even notifying Nawaz.
Moreover, Nawaz also found out that he owes the government a whopping Rs. 37 crores, since his brother failed to clear some important payments! Nawaz is of the opinion, that after this financial indiscretion came to his attention, Shamas colluded with Aaliya to file a false case against him to defame him in public and blackmail him!
100 Crore Suit Filed
Nawaz alleged that the defamatory and false remarks made by his wife and brother have ruined his reputation and impacted his career.
He has requested the Bombay High Court to pass an injunction order restraining them from making any more defamatory statements and to also take down the existing remarks made against him.
