A fresh onscreen pairing is in the making – Tripti Dimri with Siddhant Chaturvedi.
Recently, Karan Johar had dismissed reports that Dharma Productions was backing a film titled ‘Dhadak 2’. Looks like there’s a brand new update about this upcoming untitled as of yet film –
As per a Pinkvilla report, the project is allegedly the Hindi remake of the 2018 Tamil film Pariyerum Perumal.
“The film is an intense romantic drama with caste system in its backdrop. Karan and his team were bowled over by the film and have decide to remake it with Siddhant Chaturvedi and Tripti Dimri,” a source told the portal.
Pariyerum Perumal Synopsis:
Pariyan, a law student belonging to a lower caste, falls in love with Jothi, a girl from an upper caste. However, their relationship irks Jothi’s family members who harass Pariyan to no end.
The source further added that the film will go on floors in the latter half of 2023. Since KJO clarified Dhadak 2 isn’t the title, updates on that front are eagerly awaited as well.
