Directed by Sankalp Reddy, Vidyut has co-produced this espionage thriller under his production banner – Action Hero Films.
Based on true events surrounding a highly-classified mission undertaken by India, which ultimately helped it win the 1971 Indo-Pak war, IB71 also stars Anupam Kher and Vishal Jethwa in important roles.
IB71 Movie Box Office Collection Day 2:
Vidyut Jammwal‘s IB71 had an underwhelming start at the box office. As per reports, the movie minted around Rs 1.67 crores on its opening day.
The film is facing a tough competition from The Kerala Story.
After making a slow start at the box office, the movie witnessed a 50% jump on its second day.
According to trade analyst Taran Adarsh, IB71 collected Rs 2.51 crores on Saturday, taking the total collection to Rs 4.18 crores in two days.
