Following the massive success of Drishyam and Drishyam 2 across the nation, it is said that Drishyam3 is in the making.
Reports are rife, Ajay Devgn and Mohanlal will shoot for Hindi and Malayalam versions simultaneously.
As Pinkvilla reported, the third installment of the crime-thriller has gotten into the development stage. The teams behind the Hindi and Malayalam versions have reportedly joined forces to shoot them together and release them on the same date all across India so that the movie-goers could enjoy a spoiler-free experience.
“Abhishek Pathak and his team of writers have cracked a basic core plot for Drishyam 3, which Jeethu Joseph and his team loved. They have taken the idea from the team of Hindi Drishyam and are now working towards developing it into a screenplay for Drishyam 3.”

While the fans are excited about the recent development, the latest reports state otherwise. According to a report, the makers of the Malayalam and Hindi versions were never in a discussion about the simultaneous release.
A source close to Jeethu Joseph told the portal –
“Jeethu is working on an idea but he hasn’t decided when it’s going on floors or how it will be shot or when it will release. There’s no decision taken on whether all the versions of Drishyam 3 will release together either. The news that came out is fake and none of it has been discussed by Jeethu or the movie’s producers. Only thing I can confirm right now is that Jeethu is working on an idea.”
The source further added that Jeethu is facing pressure from other makers to make Drishyam 3, however, he wants to make sure that “it’s done properly and not just for the sake of it”.
“No one has discussed any idea about Drishyam 3 with Jeethu. In fact, he is not entertaining any stories from an outsider. He is working on an idea that is entirely his own.”
