Looks like Jee Le Zaraa has run into a roadblock with its casting issues. Now, Anushka Sharma has turned down the project allegedly!
The Farhan Akhtar directorial hit the headlines when Priyanka Chopra Jonas stepped out owing to date issues with her Hollywood projects.
Anushka was then approached to step in for Pee Cee’s role. However, she also has rejected Jee Le Zaraa citing date issues, as per Bollywood Hungama.
“Anushka was excited about the idea of a female-led journey of self-discovery, but the shooting timelines were not matching with her calendar. She has to balance her personal life with her profession and allotting the number of days that Farhan asked for was not possible. There are a lot of combination dates with Katrina Kaif and Alia Bhatt, but it was not in line with her schedule,” a source revealed.
Rumours about Katrina Kaif exiting the project also went rife but an insider source clarified that she’s still very much on board.
