Looks like the Student Of The Year franchise is returning with another instalment!
Student Of The Year 3 is allegedly going to mark Shanaya Kapoor‘s OTT debut. For the unversed, Shanaya is actor Sanjay Kapoor and Maheep Kapoor’s daughter.
Karan Johar is planning on turning SOTY 3 into a web series as per a Pinkvilla report. Produced by Dharmatic Entertainment, the show will be launched on Disney+Hotstar.
Shanaya was supposed to make her grand Bollywood debut with Bedhadak but this film has allegedly been shelved. She is making her pan-India debut with Mohanlal’s action entertainer, Vrushabha, which was announced recently.
Talking about the Student Of The Year films – the first part introduced Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan, and Sidharth Malhotra and made big bucks at the box office, crossing over 100 crores. SOTY 2 marked the debut of Ananya Pandey and Tara Sutaria, with a 98-crore box office collection.
