Alia Bhatt is gearing up for her Friday release, Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani.
The actress is set to headline Karan Johar‘s upcoming action-thriller and we hear, THIS handsome hunk from The Archies has joined the cast.
As reportedly earlier, Alia will headline Vasan Bala‘s upcoming directorial which is produced by KJo’s Dharma Productions.
If this Pinkvilla report is to be believed, Vedang Raina, who will make his acting debut in Zoya Akhtar’s The Archies, has come on board to share the screen space with Alia in this yet-untitled project.
“Vedang will be making his acting debut in the digital world with the Zoya Akhtar-directed The Archies alongside Suhana Khan, Khushi Kapoor, and Agastya Nanda. The Vasan Bala film will mark his first foray into the world of theatrical business. Karan and Vasan were impressed with his performance in the rushes of The Archies and believe that he fits the bill.”

Reportedly, the movie revolves around a prison break and is expected to go on floors in September this year. The film is said to have a theatrical release in the second half of 2024.
“In August, Alia Bhatt and Vedang will have multiple script reading sessions to break the ice. In fact, there will also be action workshops as the premise of Vasan Bala’s film has ample of action. The core plot is centered around a prison break.”

On the work front, Alia will make her Hollywood debut with Heart of Stone. She also reportedly has Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Baiju Bawra and YRF’s first female-lead spy universe movie. As per reports, she is also in talks to play ‘Sita’ in Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana.
