Dream Girl 2 – a sequel to Ayushmann’s 2019 comedy blockbuster – stars Ananya Panday as the female lead along with Annu Kapoor, Paresh Rawal, Vijay Raaz, Rajpal Yadav, Asrani, Manoj Joshi, Abhishek Banerjee, Seema Pahwa, Manjot Singh and Ranjan Raj.

Ayushmann Khurrana:
Reportedly, Ayushmann had taken home around Rs 25 crores for the first part of the movie. However, post Covid-19 pandemic, the actor decided to have a pay cut.
According to reports, Ayushmann, who is reprising his role as Pooja, has been paid Rs 15 crores for the movie.
Ananya Panday:
Ananya Panday, who had replaced Nushrratt Bharuchha in the sequel, will be seen as Pari in this much-awaited sequel. Reportedly, she took home a paycheque of Rs 3 crores.
Paresh Rawal:
The versatile actor Paresh Rawal, who is a new addition to the Dream Girl 2 cast, has apparently got Rs 1.5 crore as his fee.
Rajpal Yadav:
Known for his impeccable comic timing, Rajpal Yadav has supposedly charged Rs 1 crore for this film.
Annu Kapoor plays the role of Ayushmann’s father in this comedy-drama sequel and is paid Rs 85 lakhs, while Vijay Raaz’s fee is Rs 70 lakhs. Veteran actor Asrani reportedly took home Rs 45 lakhs and seasoned actor Manoj Joshi reportedly charged Rs 35 lakhs.
Dream Girl 2 Synopsis:
“Karam, a small-town boy from Mathura, is struggling every day to pay his father’s debt, who has borrowed money from nearly everyone on the planet. On the other hand, he is deeply in love with Pari, whose father has kept the conditions to marry her. To make ends meet, Karam dons as Pooja, which creates wild chaos and a comedy of errors.”
