Is Genelia D’Souza pregnant; Riteish Deshmukh clarifies –
The Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na actress and hubby Riteish are proud parents to two children already. They welcomed their 1st son Riaan on 25 November 2014 while their second son Rahyl was born on 1 June 2016.
Genelia-Riteish were papped at an event, and Genelia drew everyone’s attention as she kept trying to cover her belly. The gesture, paired with Genelia’s loose-fitted dress, made netizens speculate about a possible pregnancy being on the cards.
Genelia D’Souza Pregnancy Rumour Untrue?
However, Riteish Deshmukh took to his Instagram stories and admitted that while he wouldn’t mind having 2-3 more kids, the pregnancy rumour was untrue!
The couple finally got married on 3 February 2012. They had a Maharashtrian wedding along with a church wedding, as per the customs and traditions of their families. For the unversed, before tying the knot, Genelia and Riteish had dated each other for almost nine years.
Genelia D’Souza and Riteish Deshmukh had first starred together in the 2002 movie- Tujhe Meri Kasam. Genelia, who was only 16 years old back then, reportedly didn’t talk to Riteish and even used to ignore him on Tujhe Meri Kasam sets as she thought since he was the son of former Maharashtra CM Vilasrao Deshmukh, he would be a ‘rich, very connected brat’.
On the work front, Riteish has Housefull 5 with Akshay Kumar, Visfot with Fardeen Khan and Krystle D’souza and the horror-comedy Kakuda with Sonakshi Sinha. He will also be seen in the comedy film 100% with John Abraham and Nora Fatehi.
Genelia Deshmukh was last seen in the JioCinema release, Trial Period, wherein she played a single mother whose kid is searching for a father figure. He insists on getting one on a 30-day trial!
