Ayushmann Khurrana is currently riding high on success of the much-awaited sequel, Dream Girl 2. He reprised his roles as ‘Karam’ and ‘Pooja’ in this Raaj Shaandilyaa directorial.
The film hit theatres on 25 August 2023 and already crossed the Rs 100-crore mark at the box office.
Ayushmann Khurrana Dream Girl 2 Fee:
As per reports, Ayushmann took home a whopping paycheque of Rs 15 CRORES for this film.
Reportedly, he had taken home around Rs 25 crores for the first part of the movie. However, post Covid-19 pandemic, the actor decided to have a pay cut.
For the unversed, Dream Girl 2 raked in Rs 10.69 crores on its opening day at the box office, making it Ayushmann’s biggest opening of his career. Talking about it, a thrilled Ayushmann commented –
“It feels amazing to deliver my career’s best opening with Dream Girl 2. Dream Girl is a franchise that has given me a lot of love and I’m really happy with the start that it has got at the box office. As an entertainer, it feels amazing to bring people to theatres and experience them having a great time. Dream Girl 2 is a film that delivers entertainment in spades. It has a big promise that people will laugh their hearts out and it is good to note that the film has lived up to the expectations to take this solid start at the counters.”
On this special day, his wife Tahira Kashyap penned a sweet note along with a set of mushy pictures of her with Ayushmann. She captioned it –
“Happy birthday soulmate @ayushmannk love you so much! You are the only one for whom I can dance till 4 in the morning and which we did! Even though my legs were wobbly beyond a point but Basanti didn’t stop!! You bring so much happiness to everyone around you. There is just no one like you!
