After the success of his blockbuster films like Pathaan and Jawan, the Superstar has unfortunately been receiving death threats.

SRK apparently gave a written complaint to the Maharashtra state government, post which his security level was upgraded to Y Plus.
Shah Rukh Khan is footing the bill of this security upgrade – he’ll be paying the cost to the state government!

Y+ Security?
Under Y+ security, SRK will be protected round the clock by 6 personal security officers, who’ll be working in 3 shifts. In addition to that, 5 armed guards are also stationed at Shah Rukh Khan’s Mannat house.

As per TOI, the report issued by the state home department to senior police officers states –
“In view of the recent imminent and probable threat to actor Shah Rukh Khan, all unit commanders are requested to provide Y + with an escort scale of security on payment basis with immediate effect, till next high level committee recommendation and review committee decision, during his visit/engagements and stay in your jurisdiction to avoid any untoward incident.”
The Superstar received a scare earlier this year too, when two men had tried to break into Mannat by climbing the outer wall. However, they were caught by the security guards thankfully.

Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan broke records – having garnered an impressive collection of ₹1103.27 crore gross at the worldwide box office.
SRK’s Next – Dunki
He will next be seen in Dunki which is helmed by Rajkumar Hirani. Taapsee Pannu is his co-star for this social comedy drama. It is scheduled to release in the theatres on 22 December 2023.
It will be clashing big time with Prabhas’ Salaar, which has locked in the Christmas window.
Along with Dunki, Shah Rukh Khan will be resuming the part of Pathaan and appearing in a cameo role in Tiger 3. After that, he’ll be in Tiger vs Pathaan, which is another addition in the YRF Spy Universe.
