Kalki 2898 AD – Amitabh Bachchan Look Revealed –
On the special occasion of the Superstar’s 81st birthday, the team introduced his character look from the movie.

The intense poster was shared with the caption – “It’s an honor to be part of your journey and witness your greatness. Happy Birthday @SrBachchan sir 🙏- Team #Kalki2898AD”.
The photo shows Big B wearing a raggedy shroud and carrying a stick. Set against the background of a cave – the photo makes him appear as some sort of secret rebellion leader, in a hide-out.
About Kalki 2898 AD
Helmed by Nag Ashwin, the sci-fi actioner film also stars Prabhas, Deepika Padukone and Kamal Haasan in key roles. Disha Patani is also starring in this starry ensemble cast. Kalki 2898 AD is produced by Vyjayanthi Movies and will be released in two parts, with the first installment releasing in January 2024.
Budget?
Made on an impressive budget of 600 crores, it is touted to be one of India’s most expensive movies ever made already. Simultaneously shot in Telugu and Hindi, the film has music scored by Santhosh Narayanan, cinematography by Djordje Stojiljkovic and editing by Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao.
Kalki 2898 AD Story?
As per reports, Kalki 2898 AD’s futuristic storyline is deeply rooted in Indian mythology. According to Hindu mythology, Kalki is supposed to be the final incarnation of Vishnu, who is yet to appear.
At the end of the present age, also called Kalyug or Kali yuga, when dharma has completely disappeared and the world is ruled by oppressors, Kalki will come to the earth to end the oppression and start a new age. Prabhas is allegedly playing the modern-day avatar of Kalki.

Apart from this sci-fi film, Amitabh Bachchan also has Ganapath with Tiger Shroff and Kriti Sanon, and Ribhu Dasgupta’s courtroom drama Section 84.
He was recently announced to be a part of Rajinikanth’s Thalaivar 170 as well.
