Yaariyan 2 – a much-anticipated sequel to the 2014 film, Yaariyan – is tale of three best friends who are cousins by blood. The film also stars Yash Daasguptaa, Anaswara Rajan, Priya P Varrier and Warina Hussain in pivotal roles.
Divya Khosla Kumar
The gorgeous Divya Khosla Kumar plays the role of cute and bubbly ‘Laadli Chibber’. According to reports, she didn’t charge a single penny for movie. However, it is said that she will be earning directly through the box office performance of the sequel as the film is produced under the production banner , T-Series.
Meezaan Jafri
Meezaan Jafri is seen as ‘Shikhar Randhawa’ and it’s said that he has been a whopping Rs 50 lakhs for the film. The handsome hunk made his Bollywood debut in Malaal.
Pearl V Puri
Yaariyan 2 marks the Bollywood debut of the acclaimed TV actor, Pearl V Puri. He played the role of ‘Bajrang Das’ and reportedly took home a paycheque of Rs 50 lakhs.
Yash Daasguptaa
Popular Bengali actor Yash Daasguptaa made his big Bollywood debut in this movie. He essays the role of ‘Abhay Singh Katyal’ who is married to Laadli. As per reports, his fee was Rs 60 lakhs.
The fees of the others supporting actors – Warina, Anaswara, Priya – is estimated to be within Rs 20 – 40 lakhs allegedly.
About Yaariyan 2 Movie:
The film follows the journeys of three cousins – Shikhar, Laadli, and Bajrang – as they navigate their adventures, dreams and self-discovery in Mumbai. The story revolves around Ladli’s troubled marriage to Abhay, her uncovering of his past love story, and their subsequent divorce.
For the unversed, Yaariyan 2 is the Hindi remake of the 2014 Malayalam blockbuster Bangalore Days. The original romantic-comedy drama had starred Dulquer Salmaan, Nazriya Nazim, Nivin Pauly, Fahadh Faasil among others.
