Brahmastra 2: Ranveer Singh finalized as Dev?
If the latest reports are to be believed, then Ranveer has given a nod to play Shiva’s father Dev in Brahmastra sequel.
Brahmastra 2: Ranveer Singh Locked In?
As per News18, Ranveer has signed the dotted line. The scripting for the second part is still in progress and the film is expected to roll in 2025.
“Currently, Ayan is busy with War 2 and Ranveer will also begin shooting for Baiju Bawra this year. So, when Brahmastra 2 will go on floors is still unclear,” a source revealed.
Brahmastra 2: Ranveer Singh To Shoot Don 3 First
The source adds, “If all goes well, Ranveer will kick-start Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Baiju Bawra mid-2024. While it was decided that the shoot of Brahmastra 2 will begin in early 2025, it is now being said that Don 3 will go on floors at around the same time. In all likelihood, Ranveer will shoot for Don 3 first and then Brahmastra 2.”
For the unversed, Deepika Padukone is playing the role of Amrita, Shiva’s (Ranbir Kapoor) mother. It will be interesting to see the Ranveer-Deepika jodi reunite onscreen for this big franchise.
Directed by Ayan Mukerji, Brahmastra stars Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Amitabh Bachchan in key roles. Nagarjuna had played a prominent special role and Mouni Roy was an excellent antagonist in the 1st part.

Brahmastra Part 2 Dev is targeting the December 2026 window while Part 3 is aiming for December 2027 release! The 2 movies will be made together…so they can be released closer! Talking about Brahmastra Part 1 – it was a huge success, crossing 431 crores at the box office.
