Even almost a month after its release the buzz around the film is quite strong. Now, filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt has also raised the film and lauded son-in-law Ranbir Kapoor for his exceptional performance.
Lauding director Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s daring approach, Mahesh Bhatt shared that the film is a “cinematic rarity and boldly defies mainstream norms.”

The Ranbir Kapoor-Vanga film has become one of the highest grossers of 2023, not just that, many from Bollywood have also praised the film to a great extent. And while the frenzy around it continues, Animal becomes Ranbir’s biggest hit till date, and also the most successful A-rated film in Indian cinema.
It has crossed an astonishing 880 crores at the global box office till now. The actioner will also be having a sequel titled Animal Park.

For the unversed, in the post-credits scene it has been shown that Aziz has been altered via plastic surgery to resemble Ranvijay. His purpose is to masquerade as Ranvijay and kill Balbir and his family. The post-credits also hint at Zoya (Tripti Dimri) possibly being pregnant. A deranged Aziz tells her he’s excited to see if the child resembles him or Ranvijay, whom Zoya was sent to seduce.
