Devara Postponed: Delay is not due to Saif Ali Khan
Recently, there was news that Jr NTR’s much-awaited film, ‘Devara‘, helmed by director Koratala Siva, is getting postponed.
Devara Postponed But Not Due To Saif Ali Khan
It was initially slated to release in theatres on April 5, 2024. But now it has been postponed to the second half of 2024.
A reliable insider connected to the project has clarified that the delay in Devara is not a result of Saif’s injury. Saif has successfully wrapped up filming for the movie. Instead, the delay is attributed to the ongoing efforts of the filmmakers in perfecting the VFX and music aspects.

Devara Postponed: Delay Isn’t Due To Saif Ali Khan’s Injury
A source close to the project clarifies that, “Saif’s injury is not the cause of the delay in Devara. Saif has already completed filming for the movie. The delay is attributed to the ongoing work on VFX and music by the filmmakers.”
Saif Ali Khan Had Surgery Recently
For the unversed, Saif Ali Khan had recently undergone a tricep surgery after he triggered an old injury while filming for his upcoming movie Devara. The actor was admitted to Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital for treatment and was discharged soon.
Saif said, “This injury and the surgery that followed is a part of the wear and tear of what we do. I am very happy to be in such amazing surgical hands and thank all well-wishers for their love and concern.”

Written and directed by Koratala Siva, the movie is set against the backdrop of coastal lands. The 1st glimpse features Jr NTR in a fierce avatar as he turns the sea into blood-red water. The video shows a clear glimpse of the actor killing men with a sword and an axe while showing some impressive fight moves.
The video ends with NTR washing his feet in the water, turning the grey water into red due to the bloodbath. Devara stars Janhvi Kapoor as a fisherman’s daughter named Thangam and Saif Ali Khan as the antagonist Bhaira.
