Sanjay Leela Bhansali, who is known for his larger-than-life approach, meticulous attention to detail, opulent sets, and visually stunning narratives, has redefined grandeur in Indian cinema.
Let’s have a look at his upcoming projects –
1) Heeramandi
Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar – touted to be the biggest web show from India – is hailed as the most-awaited series of this year. The first-look teaser of Bhansali’s 14-year passion project was dropped earlier today (February 1).
The series stars Sonakshi Sinha, Aditi Rao Hydari, Richa Chadha, Manisha Koirala, Sharmin Segal, and Sanjeeda Sheikh in the lead.

2) Love & War
A couple of days ago, Bhansali announced his upcoming directorial, Love & War with Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal in the lead. The epic saga is scheduled to hit theatres on Christmas 2025.
As per reports, the movie is said to be an original love story that is set against the backdrop of a war.

3) Inshallah
Announced in 2019 with Salman Khan and Alia Bhatt, SLB’s Inshallah is yet to go on floors. However, multiple reports claimed that the movie got shelved due to unknown reasons. If a recent Pinkvilla report is to be believed, Shah Rukh Khan might replace Salman for this much-awaited film. Reportedly, SLB had met SRK a couple of times over the last few months. However, there is no official confirmation yet.
4) Baiju Bawra
After Gully Boy and Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh were set to reunite for Bhansali’s yet another passion project, Baiju Bawra. According tor reports, the movie has been put on hold due to Rs 350-crore budget.
Previously, Bhansali has worked with Alia in Gangubai Kathiawadi and delivered three blockbusters films – Ram Leela, Bajirao Mastani and Padmaavat – with Ranveer.
