Shaktimaan: Mukesh Khanna DELETES post rejecting Ranveer Singh!
Veteran actor Mukesh Khanna, best known for his iconic portrayal of the superhero Shaktimaan, recently posted on his social media about the rumoured Shaktimaan project casting that’s doing the rounds with Bollywood Superstar Ranveer Singh.

He took to Instagram, criticizing Ranveer Singh, saying that an actor with an image like him could never play Shaktimaan. The now-deleted post read –

Mukesh had said – “For months, there have been rumours on social media that Ranveer Singh would portray Shaktimaan. And everyone was angry about it. I remained silent. But when channels started announcing that Ranveer has been signed, then I had to speak up. And I have said that no matter how much of a big star he is, a person with such kind of image can never become Shaktimaan. I have put my foot down. Now let’s see what happens next!”

The now-deleted video was first uploaded on YouTube and then was posted on his Instagram. Both have now been taken down by Khanna.
The reports have long been making rounds on the casting for the reported superhero film however, no confirmation has come. Reacting to the reports, Khanna had made a video and shared on his social media, which didn’t make Singh’s fans happy.
Ranveer Singh Upcoming Projects:
Ranveer Singh has been a strong contender for the Shaktimaan role. In fact, reports said that Ranveer would take up Shaktimaan after Don 3.
“Right after Don 3, it’s time for Shaktimaan. The film has been in the writing stage for over three years now and the team has finally cracked a script that’s worthy of doing justice to the legacy of Shaktimaan. The film will be directed by Basil Joseph, with Sony Pictures India and Sajid Nadiadwala as the producers,” a source had revealed previously.
Ranveer also has Singham Again lined up next.
