“The USD 100 Million [Rs. 835 crores] budget is just for Ramayana: Part One. He plans to expand this further as the franchise grows. The idea is to take Indian Cinema at a global level,” a source revealed.

The mythology film features Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Ram, Sai Pallavi as Sita and Yash as Ravan. Lara Dutta is going to portray Queen Kaikeyi. As per previous reports, Sunny Deol will play Hanuman, and Vijay Sethupathi will be seen as Vibhishan.

Morevover, two music legends are going to work together for the music of this film – AR Rahman and Hans Zimmer.
