In a significant development in the Saif Ali Khan attack case, the Mumbai Police arrested a woman named Khukhumoni Jahangir Sheikh from Chapra, located in Nadia district, West Bengal. She is reportedly linked to Mohammad Shariful Islam Shehzad, one of the main accused in the case.

The case has also shed light on other concerning details. Shariful, a Bangladeshi national, is believed to have entered India illegally. During his time in the country, he allegedly connected with Khukhumoni, who is originally from Andulia, a village in the Murshidabad district of West Bengal.

As per Midday report, CID sources revealed that 19 fingerprint samples collected from the crime scene at Saif’s house, failed to match those of Shariful Shehzad, raising concerns about whether the wrong person has been apprehended. Additionally, Bandra Police have hinted at the possibility of another suspect being involved in the case.
Social media users have also pointed out discrepancies between the appearance of the suspect caught on CCTV footage and the arrested Shariful, further fueling speculation.
