The handsome newcomer (nephew of Superstar Ajay Devgn) recently debuted in Abhishek Kapoor’s period drama, Azaad.
Aaman Devgan, alongside his co-star Rasha Thadani, had an insightful chat with Instant Bollywood. He shared fond childhood memories of visiting the set of Golmaal, directed by Rohit Shetty, marking his first-ever film set experience. He expressed his aspiration to work with Shetty someday, acknowledging that the director typically casts only top-tier actors and that he hopes to earn his place among them in the future.
“Rohit Shetty’s Golmaal was one of the first sets I went on as a kid. I was just five years old, I don’t have any specific memories, but I just remember the vibe on set,” Aaman commented.

“Of course, I want to work with him but I think that’s a position you have to deserve. Rohit Shetty definitely only works with top-tier actors, since he’s a director of that superior level, he needs actors at that same level. I hope one day I can be on his list. Let’s manifest!” – the young actor said.
He added, “I’ve met him a lot of times, actually since childhood, because he worked with my uncle before. Uncle and Rohit are very similar. Rohit Sir is also soft-spoken and a family-loving person. He is silent and introverted. He’s a gem, sweet person.“

“Uncle (Ajay Devgn) and Rohit Sir have a similar mindset and sense of understanding. I think they’re both obsessed with cinema together. I don’t think Rohit Sir is very social either. They both seem to just want to chill with family, you know? They’ve reiterated that – this is how we are and we like it.
If a film does well, they want to use all those profits just to make a better film, not for anything else. They have a very similar mindset; it’s all about cinema for them.“
