Aadar Jain married Alekha Advani, his longtime girlfriend, on February 21. During one of his pre-wedding celebrations, the actor made remarks about his past relationship with Tara Sutaria.
The remarks did not sit well with many. Among those bothered by his comments was his former girlfriend, Tara Sutaria’s mother, Tina Sutaria, who appeared to take a subtle dig at Aadar.
Tina Sutaria took to her Instagram story to share a pointed message, which read: “If your boyfriend or husband ever speaks to you rudely or disrespectfully, ask him to write it down on a piece of paper, get in his car, drive, and deliver it to his mother—or simply hand it to his daughter. If he wouldn’t say it to his mother or wouldn’t want another man to say it to his daughter one day, then he shouldn’t be saying it to you.”
At his mehndi ceremony, Aadar dedicated a heartfelt speech to Alekha in the presence of his family, including Rima Jain, Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Karisma Kapoor, and Kareena Kapoor.
He expressed his love for Alekha, saying, “I’ve always loved her and always wanted to be with her. She sent me on a long 20-year journey of time-pass, but it was worth the wait because I get to marry this beautiful woman who looks like a dream. I love you, and it was all worth it. It’s a secret—I’ve always loved her. I spent four years of my life in time-pass, but now I’m finally with you, baby.”
His remark didn’t sit well with many on the internet.
Aadar and Alekha recently tied the knot in a grand wedding ceremony in Mumbai. Before this, in 2024, the couple had an intimate white wedding in Goa, attended by their families and close friends.
