Bollywood Superstar Aamir Khan is currently in Delhi, shooting for his upcoming movie ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’.
As per Free Press Journal, the actor, who’s known for his philanthropic work, has instructed his team to employ women-driven Sakha cabs for their entire Delhi schedule!
These Sakha Cabs have been known to provide employment opportunities to women who have been victims of domestic abuse and harassment.
Aamir had first introduced these cabs in Satyamev Jayate, and being an ardent supporter of their service, he has been providing them patronage ever since.
Aamir Khan keeps his promise for 10 years!
For the past 10 years, Aamir has kept his promise; that whenever he would visit Delhi, he would use their service.
Given the pandemic situation, the actor has also instructed his team to ensure that special arrangements are made for the female drivers including their stay and other necessities, for the entire 45-day schedule!
