Abhishekh Bachchan is currently at the best phase of his career with several projects.
Last year the actor surprised his fans by announcing his upcoming murder thriller movie titled ‘Bob Biswas’.
On Monday, the 44-year-old actor who plays the titular role in ‘Bob Biswas’, flew to Kolkata to resume the shoot for the movie and will be in action till December 9. While Chitrangada Singh plays a pivotal role in this murder thriller, Abhishek will be seen playing the character of Bob Biswas, a cold-blooded contract killer.
The murder thriller movie which is being produced by SRK’s ‘Red Chillies Entertainment’, Sujoy Ghosh, and Gaurav Verma, marks the directorial debut of Sujoy’s daughter Diya Annapurna Ghosh.
For the unversed, ‘Bob Biswas’, in which Abhishek plays the titular role, got a standalone sequel last year. The titular character was introduced in Sujoy Ghosh’s crime thriller ‘Kahaani’. The role was originally played by Saswata Chatterjee and has been taken over by Abhishek for the standalone film.
On Wednesday, Chitrangada shared a pic from the sets of ‘Bob Biswas’.
Earlier this year in January, the ‘Ludo’ actor kick-started the shooting for ‘Bob Biswas’ but was disrupted because of the lockdown.
