Nawazuddin Siddiqui and his wife, Aaliya have been married for more than a decade now. On May 19, Aaliya sent Nawaz a legal notice for divorce and told the world that nothing’s perfect in their little paradise. Nawaz decided to keep silent all this time over the allegations made by his wife.
But the actor has finally broken his silence and reacted to a few allegations through a legal route. Nawaz has sent Aaliya a notice with subject to engaging in fraud and planned defamation.
In the notice it has been mentioned that Nawazuddin Siddiqui had legally replied to Aaliya’s notice for ‘dissolution of marriage’ on May 19, within the stipulated time of 15 days, which the actor’s wife has totally denied on receiving.
Also, in a recent interview, Aaliya stated that the actor had stopped the monthly allowance for their children’s expenses and that she was almost unable to pay school fees for their kids. In order to make those payments she had to sell off her car.
Replying to his wife’s statements of non-payment of maintenance and fees for the kids, Nawazuddin’s notice stated that he has been providing for their children’s expenses, their education and has proof for the same.
“EMI is still being paid by my client. Other children related expenses too. Divorce notice was replied to but again, she has stated the contrary in order to defame through this well thought slander campaign,” stated Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s lawyer Adnan Shaikh.
Through the notice, Nawaz has clearly stated that Aaliya should stop making any defamatory comments against him. She should immediately give a written clarification on her previous allegations and retract her statements.
